Dr. Maryum Nisar is an Assistant Professor in the Computing and Technology Department, holding a Ph.D. in Computational Science and Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. With a strong research background, she has published a total of 14 articles, including 10 in W category journals, alongside a book chapter and additional Y and X category publications. Dr. Nisar’s research interests encompass Data Science, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology. An accomplished scholar, she has received several awards, including ICT scholarships for her Ph.D. and MS, as well as the President Gold Medal in MS and recognition as a Double Silver Medalist in her BS(Hons). Passionate about teaching, she covers subjects such as Data Science, Data Mining, and Artificial Intelligence, aiming to equip her students with the skills necessary for success in these rapidly evolving fields.
